How to replace the flint:
1. Remove the screw and will see the spring and flint in it.
2. Take out the old flint and replace with new flint.
How to trim the wick:
1. When wick becomes black from carbon, pull up with pliers until clean wick appears.
2. Cut the black part of, then straighten the wick in the chimney.
3. Occasionally you may need to replace the wick. Change the wick by using tweezers to remove all packing from fuel chamber. Insert new wick downward through chimney, pulling through with tweezers.
4. Interweave the wick between the fillers. The right amount of wick is exposed according to the height of the chimney. (the height of the wick determines the size of the flame)
