PAST Outdoors in partnership with Next Peak is proud to be launching accredited First Aid training courses. Delivered by a team of former Special Forces medics and qualified paramedics, these courses are built on firsthand experience in critical, high-pressure environments.
Become accredited in the highly sought after HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course, recognised in all Australian states and territories.
The team of trainers, using real world examples and experience, will teach you identify signs and symptoms and provide first aid in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and other relevant Australian national peak clinical bodies like Safe Work Australia, the National Asthma Council, the Epilepsy Foundation and Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy.
This is not a tick in the box First Aid course. You will be taught and you will be tested. The course runs over 7 days commencing with blended online learning followed by a day of practical application and assessments conducted at PAST HQ and the surrounding bush land with scenarios relevant to the outdoors and travel.
We don’t just teach, we prepare people to save lives. Practical, focused, and grounded in real-world expertise, our training equips individuals and teams to respond confidently and effectively in emergencies.
When choosing the course in the date selection, the date is the day for the practical assessment. The online component of the course will be conducted over the seven days prior to the assessment day.
